I’d genuinely forgotten what it was like to have a story appear in the paper about something not right, and the government actually do something about it in response. Of course, we shall have to wait and see if they really do repave the New England Highway, Oxley Highway, and Waterfall Way – but to see a whole government announcement that was clearly directed straight at the Northern Tablelands, with like one road…
