Jan Kleeman writes: Barnaby’s defection to Hanson’s One Nation was glaringly predictable; no “hurt” to his betrayed electorate, just relief. 

What was glaringly absurd however, was the venue chosen to announce their joyful union…… cattle sale yards?   Pauline at a cattle sale?…..now that is not only bizarre but to anyone who has been involved in breeding and selling cattle that was an insult.
