We need a cardiac team in the cath lab at Tamworth Base Hospital, 7 days a week. I could have died after having heart attack on a Friday, because there’s no cath lab on Fridays or weekends – I was taken by helicopter to John Hunter in Newcastle. It’s not good enough for a town this size.
