These are indeed unprecedented times, locally, federally and globally. Past observations of time worn machinations now ring hollow, and indeed ineffective, in these troubled times. No longer is One Nation viewed solely as racist rednecks who point up at planes, but a tangible protest vote that may eventually manifest in some form as a realistic opposition. Whilst Labors Bradbury moments continue to deliver, people are watching their Australia slipping away, they’re hurting, insecure, and ready for change. Immigration, renewables, and gun laws present diametrically opposing benefits and repercussions within the Coalition, rendering it unworkable, and them now unsuitable bedmates.
