Train needed to cut food prices, access medical appointments

Deni McKenzie, Armidale |

The cost of groceries etc. is rising due to trucks being unable to cross flooded plains. Should there be rail linking all the towns on all rail lines around NSW, then the price of goods would come down.
At present people, isolated by not having a train, can’t travel for medical appointments in the major cities. Our politicians need to know that there are 3 million people who DO NOT LIVE in Sydney. Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide would also benefit if the country travellers could get to music, theatre, and other events. Cities are stabbing themselves in the foot by not including Regional and Rural populations.
